WHAT PAYMENT METHODS CAN I USE?

Payment is taken by our international sales facilitation and fulfillment partner, Global-E. The following payment types are accepted on www.modes.com.my for online purchases:

An authorization hold for the total amount of your order is placed on the payment method at the time of order placement, but you will not be charged until your order ships. If your payment is not authorized, you will receive a message on the checkout page to try another form of payment.

Please note that not all payment methods can be used for every type of order – the payment methods applicable to your order will be displayed at checkout.

Our checkout process uses Verified by Visa, MasterCard Secure Code, and American Express SafeKey, where applicable, to verify your online transaction.


CASH ON DELIVERY

Cash on Delivery purchases can be paid at your doorstep and are available at an additional cost, which will be displayed at checkout.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE AND WHAT DOES IT COST TO SHIP MY ORDER?

You can track your order at any time online via our Order Status page. You will need to provide your email address and order number. You also can track your order by clicking on the tracking link included in your shipping confirmation email, which will take you to an online tracking portal, or by contacting a Customer Services representative through our Contact Us form.

*Delivery times are approximate. Depending on your location, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public Holidays may not be considered business days.

** Orders must be placed before 2 pm (GMT+8). Orders placed after 2 pm (GMT+8).  will ship on the next business day. Orders are shipped from Monday to Friday.

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to BFPO addresses or PO Boxes.

Please note that for our delivery services, a signature will be required. If you are unavailable when the courier attempts to deliver, the courier will rearrange delivery and you will be notified via the contact information you have provided for this purpose.


DO YOU SHIP ORDERS TO MULTIPLE ADDRESSES?

We currently do not ship orders to multiple addresses. Please place separate orders for each shipping address.


WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND AND WANT A DIFFERENT SIZE OR COLOR AFTER MY ORDER IS PLACED?

IF I AM NOT PLEASED WITH MY SELECTION? CAN I RETURN THE PURCHASE?

Returns must be made within the guidelines in our Returns Policy.

If you are not satisfied with your order for any reason, we will accept the return of items that are in new, unused condition, with original tags attached and when accompanied by an original MODES returns form. Returned items must not be washed, worn or altered. We do not accept returns of broken or removed, nor of custom-made or personalized items (including items that have been monogrammed or engraved).


This Return Policy does not affect the statutory rights you may have under applicable law, including your statutory right to withdrawal or your statutory warranty.

Credit for your returned item(s) will be refunded back to your account in the same form of payment in which it was received, except for Cash on Delivery and as otherwise stated here. You will receive an email confirming the completion of return processing. Please note we do not offer exchanges.

In the event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, we may have to send it back to you.


Refunds for Cash on Delivery orders

For return items paid for by ‘cash on delivery,’ you will be contacted by a customer service representative to process the refund via bank transfer or PayPal.


Returns cannot be made to store.

Merchandise purchased online on modes.com.my can be returned by post only. All returns of online orders must be returned within 30 days from the day on which you receive your delivery. If your order is shipped in multiple deliveries you will have 30 days from the day on which you receive your last delivery for that order.


How To Return an Item(s)

To return by mail, please follow these instructions:
Securely pack your merchandise. Please try to use the original shipping box and materials.
Visit our returns portal at www.modes.com.my to initiate a returns authorization.
Enter your order number and email address.
Select the items you wish to return and the reason for your return.
Select the prepaid delivery label and print both the returns label and returns form.
Place the returns form inside your parcel before securely closing.
Affix the pre-paid label to your return package.
Post your return package at a DHL Service Point in your delivery country or request a pick up here.
Your return will be processed within a maximum of 14 business days upon receipt at our warehouse.
Please note a refund for the item will be processed to the original payment method, except for Cash on Delivery payments. For return items paid for via Cash on Delivery, a Customer Service representative will contact you to arrange a bank transfer or PayPal payment of the return amount.
You are responsible for properly packaging, labeling and shipping your product to us. Please retain your proof of postage as a safeguard for your shipment.
If you have lost your returns form or your pre-paid returns label please contact Customer Services who will be able to email you another.
WHAT WILL IT COST ME TO MAKE A RETURN?

The subsidized cost of the prepaid return label will be deducted from your return amount.

Please note that in the event that you choose another courier or shipping service to return your item rather than use the pre-paid returns label, except in the case of defective or nonconforming product, you will be liable for the cost of return, including any import duties or taxes that may be incurred by Modes as a result of using such other carriers. Such costs will be deducted from your return amount.


HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY RETURN?

Gifts can be returned by post, as outlined above. Please note that we cannot offer an exchange and a refund will be processed against the original account in the same form of payment in which it was received, except for Cash on Delivery payments. For return items paid for via Cash on Delivery, a customer service representative will contact you to arrange a bank transfer or PayPal payment of the return amount.
